With the PYRO-STRIP™ Tank System, the abrasive action of fluidized sand joins extreme temperatures to clean your hooks and racks in record time economically! Fluidized sand cleaning is the method of choice for its economical and ecological excellence.

The equipment being fabricated is a proven technology with safe and simple operation, and robust construction required for hard working paint lines. Steel, iron and bronze parts can be stripped, as well as aluminum for recycling. Invigorating hot sand bath vaporizes paint, powder coatings and crusty ash residue in 1/6 the time of conventional burn-off furnaces, without the post cleaning clean-up.

The versatile X-Change Powder Booth System has a collection of system flexible enough to adapt to any future needs. This innovative system can be outfitted with either type of powder recovery process. The users can configure the system to satisfy their powder recovery requirements now and in the future.

The efficiency and convenience of a Cartridge Booth... Recycle all low volume colors.

The X-Change Powder Booth system is specially designed for the multiple color coater using one or two major colors and a multitude of low volume and special colors which can be recycled or sprayed to waste. The most efficient usage of high volume colors is with a Cartridge Collector Module for each color. These roll-away, dedicated color X-Change Collector Modules yield nearly 100% usage of the powder coating and cross-contamination free color changes, since there is no cyclone or ducts to clean. The X-Change Collector Module recycles the powder directly to the internal hopper that feeds the guns.

In Collector Mode, the powder is drawn through the air and distribution baffles and deposited on the cartridge filter.

There it is automatically dislodged by a reverse-pulse of compressed air. This momentary snap of air allows the powder to fall into the single, removable hopper under the cartridges where it mixes with the fluidized virgin and recycled powder. This unique, closed loop powder recovery system design ensures a consistent blend of powder deposition throughout the operation. The virgin make-up powder is loaded into the collector through the load chute above the hopper. The chute also allows for the inspection of the powder level and fluidization in the hopper. The Integral Hopper can be outfitted with either the Gun Feed Pumps or Recycle Pumps for transferring the recycled powder to the External Gun Feed Hopper located at the rear of the Collector when the optional Rotary Screener is used.

Powder Recycling Process with the Module Booth

The powder is sprayed into the booth tunnel enclosure by either manual or automatic spray equipment. The plant air that is drawn through the operator and work openings carries the powder over-spray cloud horizontally inside the enclosure and into the powder recovery system. The powder is recycled through the dedicated color Collector Module. The clean air that is drawn through the primary filtration system is regulated by the volume control damper and flows into the fan inlet. The fan discharges the air through the final filters back into the plant.

Fluidizing Bed Operation

Compressed air mixed with gas fluidizes the calibrated quartz sand, burning and scrubbing the residue from the product. The organic residue itself acts as fuel, reducing the amount of added gas necessary to complete the combustion of the coatings. The vaporized residues rise to the surface of the sand, where they are further incinerated in a bed of flame. In this combustion zone, oxygenation raises the temperature to nearly 1600 degrees F. The purified flue gasses rise into the Post-Combustion chamber and are expelled. The unit can be equipped with an optional entegra cyclone separator for further cleansing of the flue gasses.

Plenum Booth

Plenum booths are specialized enclosures designed to provide a controlled environment for powder coating applications, ensuring consistent, high-quality finishes on a wide range of parts and components.

Unlike standard spray booths, plenum booths incorporate an engineered air distribution system that creates uniform, balanced airflow across the entire coating area. This controlled air movement minimizes turbulence, reduces overspray, and ensures powder is applied evenly to all surfaces.

Constructed with durable steel panels and designed for easy cleaning, plenum booths typically feature multi-stage filtration systems that capture overspray efficiently while maintaining a clean working atmosphere. The plenum ceiling, combined with precisely placed intake and exhaust plenums, allows for laminar airflow that enhances powder transfer efficiency and reduces waste.

These booths are ideal for high-volume or precision applications where finish consistency and environmental control are critical—such as automotive, aerospace, agricultural equipment, and general industrial manufacturing. With modular designs, plenum booths can be customized to accommodate various part sizes and production line layouts.
